I finished the book yesterday. Have read it before. With l ove and insight Sandra Cisneros paints the upside and the downside of Mango S treet. And also shares why it was so hard to leave that place
Yes, I felt the same Audrey, and also feel how strongly Mango Street lives on in her even miles of years away. That rings true for my own experience- so much of our early years shapes how we experience the world
