Get Involved

Looking to join us in harnessing the power of technology to change the way we age? Here are six ways you can get involved in Senior Planet.

Become a Member

Anyone 60-plus can become a member of the Senior Planet Exploration Center. Membership is free, but we do ask that you share some basic information with us so we can get to know you and work to improve our programs according to our members’ needs.

Benefits of membership at the Senior Planet Exploration Center include opportunities to:

  • Register for our formal 10- and 5-week courses
  • Attend workshops, open lectures and special events
  • Use public computers, digital devices, video game systems and other equipment at the center
  • Bring a device of your own and access the Internet using our free public wi-fi
  • Talk to staff members and volunteers about your tech questions
  • Become part of a growing community of older New Yorkers who are excited by new technology, and living and aging with attitude

As a nonprofit, we ask that members think of us as a charity and contribute financially when they can, and we also welcome our members’ wishes to take active leadership roles and contribute in other ways.
