Taxtime scam alert

It’s taxtime, and scammers are working overtime to trick you into sending them your dough. Fortunately, the FTC is on the case; here are some of their tips:

 

Other scammers try to trick you by threatening your Social Security benefits…

 

The FTC has more info (link here) on scams that fake tax returns made in your name and fake online tax-prep outfits.
