Join this Wellness Wednesday group to discuss the different ways you can improve your physical, mental, and social well-being.
This week’s topic: The Three R’s of Stretching (Part 2): Release, Restore and Relax
Embark on a transformative journey to enhance your physical and mental well-being through specific exercises that will help you release tension and relax. You’ll learn stretching dos and don’ts, relaxation techniques and tips on how to cultivate a sense of inner calm. Through a combination of mindful stretches and relaxation exercises, you’ll leave the session feeling rested and relaxed. This class is both lecture and practical application of stretch-and-relax exercises.
Sally Saenger, a native of Santa Barbara, is the Founder and Executive Director of LifelongFitness.org. Sally has an extensive background in the recreation and fitness industry. She is a part-time faculty member at Santa Barbara City College. She has been teaching and working in the fitness field for over four decades, focusing on the older adult population for most of her career. Sally is a Senior Fitness Specialist and has received certifications from several organizations in the health and fitness industry. When she’s not teaching, she enjoys aquatic activities like surfing and swimming.
