Join this Wellness Wednesday group to discuss the different ways you can improve your physical, mental, and social well-being.
This week’s topic – Ten Tips to Avoid Tipping Over
Balance is a skill that needs to be practiced, especially as we advance into our senior years. In this session, Fitness Trainer Sally Saenger will share the best ways to lower your risk of falling, including simple exercises you can do at home.
Sally Saenger, M.Ed, is a part-time faculty member at Santa Barbara City College, teaching swimming-for-fitness and senior wellness classes. She is also the Founder and Executive Director of LifelongFitness.org, an organization that focuses on senior fitness. Sally has been teaching and working in the fitness field for over four decades, focusing on the older adult population for most of her career. When she’s not teaching, Sally enjoys traveling and aquatic activities like surfing and swimming.
