Valentine’s Day is a good reminder that social connection matters, so this session puts a special focus on building community online.

In this demonstration, we’ll explore Facebook Groups, which are a great way to be a part of an online community. You can even create your own! After quickly reviewing the basics of searching and joining group, we will focus on the step-by-step process for creating a new Facebook Group. We’ll also show Facebook’s various options for managing your group, including whether to make it private or public and more.

Prerequisite: Please note, you must have a Facebook account in order to join and create groups. This demo will not go over the steps for creating a Facebook account.
