Course Description
Curious about how best to manage privacy and security risks while taking advantage of all the internet has to offer? This series meets two times/week for five weeks and will introduce to you to ways that you can safely explore the digital world. The series includes lectures and hands-on sessions that explore how to create strong passwords and identify scams, how ad-targeting works online, tips for managing privacy settings, and more! The series also includes open sessions for extra practice on the topics that are most relevant to the group.
Prerequisites: Participants should be comfortable navigating the internet and have an email address that they use.
