We are so excited to announce that the author of this month’s book club pick, A Rising Man, Abir Mukherjee will be joining our zoom discussion on Thursday August 25, 2022 at these times:
4:30PM ET / 3:30PM CT / 2:30PM MT / 1:30PM PT

Abir Mukherjee is the Times’ bestselling author of the Wyndham & Banerjee series of crime novels set in Raj-era India. Prior to his literary success, Abir spent twenty years as an accountant. When he isn’t writing, Abir cohosts the Red Hot Chilli Writers podcast with his friend and fellow author Vaseem Khan.

Hi,
I’m interested in joining your book club and wanted to what the procedures are.
I’ve been away from senior planet since the beginning of Covid and I have much catching up to do in different areas I would like to participate.
Perhaps it maybe best if I call and talk with someone at your convenience.

This is a book I likely would not have read on my own. I enjoyed the book and ordered book 2 iof the series.

I’m not a part of your bk. club, (just do “Morning Stretch”) but when I scrolling thru “The Orbit” I saw you were reading this bk. I got it from our library and just finished it! I really enjoyed it and look forward to reading the rest of this series. What a surprise treat to discover that the author will be speaking tomorrow! I’ll be there on Zoom to hear him!
