Gardening refreshes the soul – and can nourish the body.  But how does your garden grow?  Senior Planet offers a live streaming talk by gardening phenom Jessica Zander on October 20. Details below.

Instagram phenom and gardening expert Jessica Zander of You Can Do It Gardening joins Senior Planet for “Upping Your Gardening Game” an exclusive, first-ever gardening talk on October 20. (Details are here.)

Based in the Boston-area, Jessica offers in person and virtual classes to future gardeners near and far. Gardening is a hugely popular hobby enjoyed by many Senior Planet participants, including in the Senior Planet Community Gardening Group.

This event on October 20 will live stream Zander’s  answers to gardening dilemmas sent in via video by Senior Planet gardeners by the October 6 deadline. All are welcome to view the talk and the streaming Q&A session.

The event will start with Jessica’s short, PowerPoint introduction, containing proprietary information and visible only during the October 20 session.

The following Q&A session will be recorded and visible for 90 days on the Senior Planet YouTube Channel. (Jessica’s proprietary PowerPoint talk will not be recorded or available after the event.)

  1. Hi,
I’m a new backyard gardener learning by trial and error and watching others. I love eating what i grow and sharing…its I think what I’ll transition to after i retire, dont really plan to retire as im in nursing, but plan to enjoy my garden more and work less. As i get older its a great past time that gives back. Also learning about flowers for pollinating and herbs for health…interested in learning about canning and preserving TY senior planet happy I found y’all very helpful
