What is Senior Planet from AARP?
Senior Planet from AARP is the flagship program of the 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization Older Adults Technology Services (OATS) from AARP that helps older adults harness the power of technology to change the way we age. The Senior Planet website offers:
- Free weekly online classes, taught live by patient technology trainers
- Original articles for older readers
- Tech Tip video tutorials
- Access to weekly newsletters with all the latest happenings
There are three Senior Planet centers located in New York City, NY; Plattsburgh, NY; and Denver, CO. Centers offer classes and community to help older adults build technology skills that allow them to improve their health, make new friendships, save money, and advocate in their communities.
