It’s only been two weeks and two days between the start of reading and the Zoom meeting. Is it expected that everyone would have finished the book by the Zoom meeting? If yes, I probably won’t join the meeting as I don’t want the ending spoiled for me if I don’t finish it by then. This is my first book with this book club and I felt very rushed. Thanks for listening. Leslie
Hi Leslie! We understand your concerns. We will be discussing the entire book this Thursday during the Zoom session. We’ll also ensure that the pacing of the readings are more reasonable going forward.
It would be nice to know the books for the following months. Some of us cannot afford to buy the book and have to rely on our local library and, if it’s a popular book, the waiting list could be quite long.
Hi Kathie! We hear you and will be taking this into consideration going forward.
Hi, The book I am reading “Hide” by Tracy Clarks has more than 55 Chapters. Are we just going to discuss the first 55 Chapters on February 16.
Hi Johnnie! We are going to discuss the entire book on February 16th.
This writer is very good. I can feel what the characters are feeling, I can see what she describes. I’m up to the 3rd murder and I can’t wait to see if I’m right about who the murderer is! Looking forward to the discussion next week. I missed the last discussion because I had the date wrong.
Hi Cleta! We can’t wait to discuss the book with you. See you on Zoom.
Cleta Bradwell the discussion is on Thursday, February 16, this week. I don’t want you to miss this month meeting.
How does one join the book club?
Hi Pat! You can join our Book Club group on SPC to participate in the discussions about the books we’re reading and stay up-to-date with the weekly articles. I just joined the book club and I will miss the first discussion because I’ll be out of the country. I look forward to the next book
Hi Peggy. We look forward to seeing you at next month’s discussion. Keep an eye out for the weekly book club articles for information about next month’s book choice.
Great choice. I had really wanted to read a mystery written by a Black woman (being a Black woman and a writer myself). Yeah. I’m looking forward to this.
Hi Loretta! We’re glad you’re enjoying the book choice. Hope to see you at the Zoom discussion this Thursday.
Hey Loretta…keep writing !
Know a story is waiting to be revealed , just need to keep at it.
You don’t even mention what kind of book “Hide” is so that means we have to go look up a review. Not only do you not mention the genre but you don’t even give a little hint of a review. Your comment section says I’ve already said this but I’ve never commented to you before

Granted the print is small, but on the cover it says “A Detective Harriet Foster Thriller”
