I didn’t intend to read past chapter 10 but I just couldn’t stop. As I stated before, the first part of this book had me cross-referencing historical facts and trying to place the actual events into the context of my education. The rest of my reading was devoted entirely to character motivations and the the degrees of love presented. These characters stepped off the page, complex and flawed, sometimes tragic but ultimately resilient.
how can I know at least a month in advance what book will be discussed next?
