Preview some 2018 Oscar® Nominated Short Films

Curious about the 2018 Oscar® Nominated Short Films?

ShortsTV, which bills itself as “the global home of short movies” (learn more here), presents short films on selected TV channels for selected providers, online and in theaters. They also produce and distribute the annual Oscar® Nominated Short Films theatrical release nationwide starting February 9. Links to the participating theaters and platforms are available by clicking on ShortsTV’s Theatrical Release; you may be able to download them after February 27 on iTunes, Amazon TV and others, or see them after February 27 with Video On Demand via DirectTV and others; check at ShortsTV’s Online & VOD tabs. You’ll know who to root for during the Awards on March 4.

The three categories span Live Action, Animation and Documentary and include some gripping history, charming animation and dramatic real life stories. Here’s a taste of “Knife Skills,” a very unusual restaurant in Ohio; it’s part of the documentary lineup (learn more here.)
