Ready, Set, Bank! for Remote Learners

Are you curious about online banking, but not sure if it’s right for you?

This 2-week virtual course is designed to introduce you to online banking and help you decide if you’d like to start using it. The course meets on Zoom for 4 sessions, and includes the use of a demo banking site, as well as Senior Planet’s online learning platform, Senior Planet U (SPU).

You’ll sign into SPU in between sessions to access course materials and watch a series of short video lessons that explain online and mobile banking basics. During class, you’ll use the online demo site to practice doing the following: navigate a bank website, manage accounts, set up alerts, send money digitally, and more! You’ll also have time to ask questions and review course information.

Prerequisites: This course is best-suited for those who are completely new to online banking. You must have an email address and be comfortable navigating websites and searching for information on the internet.
