We did it!

The passion and generosity of over 240 Senior Planet members around the country knocked the Giving Tuesday goal out of the park! With an original goal of $5,000 members were able to raise MORE THAN DOUBLE that on Giving Tuesday: $10,520.

That combined with the $10,000 in matching funds means we raised……

Some of our members who gave shared why they chose to support Senior Planet this Giving Tuesday:

“My life revolves around Senior Planet!” – Darlene, New York

“I gave to OATS for Giving Tuesday even though I am inundated with requests. I’m very appreciative of the classes; the instructors are great. I have been using a computer for 20 years, and I am amazed  at what I learned at Senior Planet classes. There is always something new to learn!” – Marlene, Maryland

“The fitness classes have so improved my health and my well being… I am able to walk great distances without a thought again!” – Luise, New York

Thank you to everyone who gave, told a friend, and shared a comment about why they support Senior Planet. Individual gifts ranged from $1 to $3,000. Way to go, everyone!

If you weren’t able to donate before but would like to join us now, we will continue to collect gifts to our campaign here!
