Senior Planet is transforming social media through its new, ad-free site Senior Planet Community (SPC), a place for older adults to make friends, share their interests, and age with attitude. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll sign up for SPC and learn about its key features. You’ll explore the many groups where you can connect with others, learn about posting and messaging, and discuss the site’s safety and privacy features.

Major (Ret.) Rolona D. Brown is a U.S. Army combat veteran with over 26 years of service and a strong background in leadership, education, and technology training. She holds a master’s degree in business with a focus on Supply Chain Management and joined the OATS team in 2025. Rolona enjoys helping older adults improve their quality of life, confidence, and independence and with technology. She lives in Texas and enjoys traveling, working in her home garden, and expressing her creativity through baking and DIY projects.
