Class Description

Learn the basics of using an iPhone, including:

Turning the phone on and off
Muting the ringer
Airplane mode
Basic display settings
Making a phone call
Making a three-way phone call
Basic texting
Basic photography

While you need an iPhone to take this class, the version of iPhone you have does not matter. Come and learn how to use this truly remarkable device.

Saily joined OATS in 2024 from Miami, FL. She is a double alumna of the University of Miami, having earned an MEd in Applied Learning Sciences and a BA in Psychology. Her previous experience includes training and teaching at the Gordon Center, affiliated with the University of Miami’s Miller School of Medicine. She values empowering older adults to tackle new challenges and enjoys helping others build confidence with the latest technology. When she’s not teaching online, she enjoys spending time outside near any body of water.
