Class Description

During this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to download and use the popular ride-sharing app, Lyft. Lyft finds available drivers near you and shows prices before you book your ride. You then pay for the ride through the app using your credit card.

 

PLEASE NOTE: This event requires registration, and walk-ins will NOT be permitted. Once you register, your name will be added to a security list at the AARP NY office, and only registered participants will be permitted into the class.

Brian has been with OATS since September 2020, bringing over five years of experience helping older adults learn and build their confidence with using technology. What he loves most about working at Senior Planet is seeing older adults learn new skills that improve their lives, and knowing he’s making a real difference in his community. Outside of work, Brian is passionate about dance. He is based in New York City.
