Course Description

Are you creative or interested in becoming more creative? This hands-on series of presentations and workshops will explore some of the most popular ways to express your creativity digitally. It builds on technology you already use and brings in new tools. We will learn about sharing photos with smartphones as well as popular apps and platforms like Instagram and Canva. We will also explore the multimedia storytelling platform, Enwoven. Whether it is sharing photos or stories with friends and family or creating greeting cards, this series is for you! 

• Week 1: Smartphone Photography (lecture) + Sharing Photos from a Smartphone (workshop)
• Week 2: Google Workspace (lecture) + Google Photos (workshop)
• Week 3: Instagram (lecture) + Getting started with Instagram (workshop)
• Week 4: Digital Storytelling (lecture) + Enwoven (workshop)
• Week 5: Graphic Design Tools (lecture) + Getting Started with Canva (workshop) 

Course Prerequisites

A Gmail address is required to use Google Photos in the fourth session. For help signing up for Gmail, call the Senior Planet Tech Hotline: 888-713-3495. This series is best suited for participants who are comfortable performing internet searches and filling out forms online.
