Class Description

In this 10-week, PC-based course, you’ll learn the basics of how to operate a computer and navigate the internet in ways that can enrich your life. During the course, you’ll learn how to use email, search the internet for information, access sources of entertainment, and connect to people, organizations and interests that matter to you.

Class Prerequisites

Prerequisites: None. This course is designed for people who have never used a computer or have very little experience and want a solid introduction.

Amy joined the Senior Planet team in Colorado in 2025. After several family caregiving experiences and over 25 years teaching Spanish to learners ages 16 to 70, Amy knows the transformative power of a patient, supportive learning environment. She is passionate about challenging stereotypes about aging and empowering participants. Off the clock, Amy enjoys travel, languages, word games, and creative culinary pursuits.
