Beginning Spanish Conversation Group

Join our volunteer-led Beginning Spanish Conversation Group, offered weekly and led by fellow participant John Gasbarro. John’s native language is Italian, and he learned Spanish while living in Argentina; he enjoys helping others in the community build confidence with new languages. In this welcoming, low-pressure group, you’ll learn basic Spanish and have plenty of opportunities to practice speaking with your peers. Whether you already have some basic oral Spanish skills or are brand new to learning and speaking Spanish, you’re encouraged to join. Weekly registration is required if you’d like to attend, and while regular participation is encouraged, it is not required to attend every week.  Bring a pen and paper or your own device to take notes, if you would like. 

The Lowry center is located at 7585 E. Academy Boulevard, Denver, CO 20230.
