This week’s topic – Write to Heal: Science-backed journaling to address anxiety, chronic pain, and more.
There is a lot of conversation around journaling these days. However, there are certain journaling techniques and exercises that are backed by decades of peer-reviewed studies and research for specific needs.
Join Celine Tien as she dives into some of the most effective types of journaling for boosting your mental and physical health. We will also get to try some of these journaling techniques and learn how they are particularly helpful for addressing anxiety, chronic pain, and more. At the end, we will open up the workshop to questions and conversation so you can best understand how to customize your journaling practice to your needs.
Celine Tien is the founder of Flowly and a Principal Investigator on National Institutes of Health-backed clinical trials investigating the application of new technology as intervention for chronic pain. Flowly is an NIH-backed mobile platform to help people with pain, stress, anxiety, and insomnia reclaim their health with VR and biofeedback therapy at home.
