This week’s topic: The Power of Breath

Castulo “Cas” Castro is one of the most familiar faces at Senior Planet. As a fitness instructor for Team Senior Planet, his unique and versatile practice allows him to lead a great diversity of classes. You can spot Cas leading anything from stretch classes, to self defense, to DJing dance parties. His talent knows no bounds!

Cas will discuss the impact of mindful breathing and will demonstrate some of the techniques. As he puts it: The quality of your breath, will be the quality of your life. When you slow your breath, you slow your thoughts. The regulation of breath affects your autonomic nervous system which controls our heartbeat, respiration, digestion and more.
