Join this Wellness Wednesday group to discuss the different ways you can improve your physical, mental, and social well-being.

This week’s topic: The Three R’s of Stretching: Release, Restore and Rejuvenate

Embark on a transformative journey to enhance your physical and mental well-being through targeted stretching techniques. Sally Saenger will teach stretching dos and don’ts, the best ways to improve your range of motion and how to cultivate a sense of inner calm. Through a combination of mindful movements and relaxation techniques, you’ll leave the session feeling rested, revitalized and ready to take on what comes next! This session is both lecture and practical application of stretching techniques.

Sally Saenger, a native of Santa Barbara, is the Founder and Executive Director of LifelongFitness.org. Sally has an extensive background in the recreation and fitness industry. She is a part-time faculty member at Santa Barbara City College. She has been teaching and working in the fitness field for over four decades, focusing on the older adult population for most of her career. Sally is a Senior Fitness Specialist and has received certifications from several organizations in the health and fitness industry. When she’s not teaching, she enjoys aquatic activities like surfing and swimming.
