Charming Pet Rescue’s mission is to provide rescue, rehabilitation and new homes for dogs and cats that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned, or removed from high-kill shelters. They serve Boerne and San Antonio and have rehomed over 1,300 pets in the past two years. They recently launched the Silver Paws & Senior Hearts program – a senior adoption program that enables older adults (55+) to adopt senior dogs (7+) at $0 cost for the pet’s life. The rescue will cover all costs the dog incurs for its lifetime including food and veterinary bills. If the older adult cannot drive, Charming Pet Rescue will also provide transport of the dog to and from the vet. This means the total cost of the adoption of a senior dog to a senior heart is ZERO! Only their time and love!

This virtual program will include a tour of the home-based pet rescue, a Q&A with the rescue’s founder, and “meet and greets” with senior pets.
