(Until December 1) If you want some old-school New York nostalgia, run, don’t walk to catch The Voice of the Village: Fred W. McDarrah Photographs before it closes McDarrah, as a Village Voice photographer, created an time capsule in his shot of situations and people deeply involved in culture, counterculture, and politics – from ’50’s beats to 60’s Stonewall to the turbulent 70’s. The exhibition features images of cultural icons such as Allen Ginsberg and Bob Dylan, with a particular focus on the agitation for civil rights and anti–Vietnam War demonstrations.   Fred W.
