You can sail New York Harbor on a historic 1885 schooner! The 130-year-old schooner Pioneer is an iron-hulled sloop built to carry cargo along the Delaware River. Not just for sunset (the sails are timed with other voyages at 1pm and 4pm). Bring a picnic lunch or dinner, afternoon snack, beverages or a bottle of wine to enjoy on your sail but no distilled alcohol. The ship sails rain or shine but in severe weather, the Captain reserves the right to cancel the sail for safety. Please leave accurate contact information so you can be reached in the unlikely event of a cancellation. Meet at Pier 16 for boarding.
