(Until October 12) The Caped Crusader has moved beyond the campy “Batman” series of the 60’s.  This exhibit—Illustrating Batman: Eighty Years of Comics and Pop Culture shows original artwork from renowned illustrators, from Batman creator Bob Kane to Frank Miller (graphic novelist and filmmaker) and others – some 50 in all.

Admission is free for all visitors on Tuesdays from 5pm-8pm. Other days/times senior admission is $10.

Ready for some Bat-Trivia?  How many of the 37 villains portrayed on the series can you name? (Clue: the list includes some duplicates, since the same evil-doer was portrayed by different actors in different episodes – the Mr. Freeze character was portrayed by three different actors; one of them was a world-famous director, too).

Compare your results with this list.
