Learn current nutrition recommendations to reduce risk for and manage conditions such as hypertension, atherosclerosis, and congestive heart failure. You will hear about current research and health statistics related to cardiovascular disease, nutrients that can lead to heart disease and those that can help to prevent it. The presenter will also review label reading for key nutrients and ways to modify recipes from various cultures in a heart healthy way.
