Feed your soul and amp your peace of mind at Tibet House’s lunchtime introductory meditation classes (cited as a top pick by New York Magazine). Each session is stand alone and no special clothing is needed; the room is set up with meditation floor mats and with chairs with back support.
If you’re booked for lunch, check the Tibet House website to learn when the shrine & gallery will be open for silent individual meditation at 6pm (with instruction beginning at 7pm). It’s a great way to start the New Year right – meditation has long been hailed as an aid to mental and emotional health – and you might meet some new people, too.
