(Also April 28) The Brooklyn Botanic Garden becomes a vest-pocket Tokyo for the day when the annual Sakura Matsuri, or Cherry Blossom Festival, occurs. This two-day event is packed with music, traditional dance, crafts, a tea ceremony, and of course, food and a marketplace. Check out the schedule for Saturday here.
Due to construction limiting access to all of the Garden, entrance to the area is limited and the event may sell out, so get your tickets early. Make sure you follow the detailed instructions when you buy your tickets; info and ticketing can be found here.
