Functional Strength and Stability Training

Functional strength and stability enable us to thrive as we age. Join Master Fitness Trainer Dave Frost for this three-part pilot series that will feature exercises to help you fight the natural loss of muscle tissue, stand tall and avoid falls. The first 15 minutes of the session will be spent going over form, followed by a 30-minute workout.
Here’s what you’ll need to fully participate in each session:
  1. A stable chair or small folding stepladder
  2. A water bottle and towel
  3. Small dumbbells/wrist weights or household items, such as a gallon jug of water, a bag of birdseed or sand, a heavy coffee can or a bath towel
    4. A floor area of about 6 feet by 4 feet
    5. A smile.
This series will run on November 19th, December 3rd and December 17th and is offered as part of our Team Senior Planet program.
