Edinburgh is the capital city of Scotland, and one of the UK’s most beautiful cities. It is a compact, hilly city, with two distinct divisions, medieval Old Town and elegant, Georgian New Town. Edinburgh castle eternally looks over the entire city. The castle houses the crown jewels and the Stone of Destiny which is used in the Coronation of Scottish rulers.

Join us for a stroll up the castle hill to some of the main attractions of the city such as the Whisky Experience, Camera Obscura and Edinburgh Castle. If we are lucky we may hear someone playing the bagpipes! Next we’ll go through one of the eerie- closes. These tiny streets and back courtyards are covered on either side of the Royal Mile from top to bottom. Here we learn how this makes the layout of the old town of Edinburgh and why it’s nickname is Auld Reekie. Finally, we will end our tour with spectacular views of the New Town and famous Princes Street.
