(Until March 31). The women of the Ballet Hispánico Company rise to the challenge of Annabelle Lopez Ochoa’s Sombrerísimo. Originally meant for six men, the women of the company perform the complex partnering, athleticism and Latin sizzle of a work inspired by René Magritte. Sombrerísimo references the iconic sombreros (hats) found throughout the world that help to represent culture. Learn more and buy tickets (they start at only $10) by phone at (212) 242-0800, or online at Joyce.org. Ticket prices are subject to change; there’s a ‘curtain chat” scheduled after the March 27 performance.
