Hear and learn about the 10th Mountain Division in WWII – our “big story” for Colorado military history. The 10th was activated in Colorado as America’s first mountain/ski capable combat unit. Their intensive training in the Colorado Rockies helped turn the tide in the battle for Italy in the spring of 1945.
