Zumba Gold is designed for older adults who want to enjoy dance fitness with less intensity and lower impact. Join this session and follow along with easy Latin-based dance moves set to upbeat music from around the world that will help improve your balance, coordination, and provide light cardio. The focus is not on getting every move right, but on having fun and feeling good in your body.
What To Bring:

Bio: Growing up, Laurie Willis was the kid who excelled in academics but struggled with anything related to physical education. In retirement, she found Zumba and fell in love with it. She believes everyone, even people like her, can enjoy a Zumba dance party, move to the music, and take part in a fitness activity disguised as dance. Everyone is welcome in this Zumba Gold (low impact) class. She extends a special invitation to anyone who feels uncomfortable with fitness, thinks they are not “good enough,” or needs extra time to get the hang of movements others, often younger people, seem to pick up easily. She believes you can do it. It is okay if learning takes time. It is okay if every step is not “right.” Just moving and having fun is what counts!
