This week’s topic – Bird’s Eye View: Finding Calm Through Drone Flight
Did you know that flying a drone can engage the brain in ways similar to learning a new language or musical instrument? In this session, we’ll look at how drone flying, especially with First-Person View (FPV) or video technology, combines focus, coordination, and spatial awareness in a way that keeps the mind active and engaged. Many people also find it calming, since the concentration required can create a natural “flow” state, and FPV flying can even create the feeling of flight and freedom.
Join us to learn how drone flying supports hand-eye coordination, movement, and time outdoors. It can also open the door to connection across generations through shared learning, conversation, and hobby groups.
