Class Description

Ever landed in a new country, looked at your phone, and thought: “Well how do I make a call?” In this one-hour lecture, you’ll learn practical ways to stay connected while traveling overseas. We’ll walk through your options, from international plans with your wireless provider to eSIMs, Wi‑Fi Calling, and more. Along the way, we’ll share helpful do’s and don’ts, so you can head out with confidence and focus on enjoying your trip.

With a background in communications, Johnny worked in television production and print journalism fields until he made “the best career change” to become a Technology Trainer for Senior Planet in 2019. A retired musician of 30+ years, Johnny is also passionate about music and feels that drumming has kept him young at heart and healthy all around. Johnny combines his passions for technology education and music at Senior Planet. You can find him teaching Drum Circle and many technology lectures and demos online!
