From texting to scanning QR codes, this presentation covers a variety of essential smartphone tools and tips. We’ll discuss messaging apps and go over how your camera can do more than take pictures. We’ll also review best practices for identifying scams and keeping your phone and information secure.

Saily joined OATS in 2024 from Miami, FL. She is a double alumna of the University of Miami, having earned an MEd in Applied Learning Sciences and a BA in Psychology. Her previous experience includes training and teaching at the Gordon Center, affiliated with the University of Miami’s Miller School of Medicine. She values empowering older adults to tackle new challenges and enjoys helping others build confidence with the latest technology. When she’s not teaching online, she enjoys spending time outside near any body of water.
