Ready to level up? In this introduction to gaming we’ll explore some of the basic concepts of video games and gaming. We’ll review the benefits of gaming and take a look at some popular games and consoles, including Nintendo Switch, XBox, and VR headsets. We’ll also demonstrate where to find free games and start playing!

Saily joined OATS in 2024 from Miami, FL. She is a double alumna of the University of Miami, having earned an MEd in Applied Learning Sciences and a BA in Psychology. Her previous experience includes training and teaching at the Gordon Center, affiliated with the University of Miami’s Miller School of Medicine. She values empowering older adults to tackle new challenges and enjoys helping others build confidence with the latest technology. When she’s not teaching online, she enjoys spending time outside near any body of water.
