Destination: Miraflores, Lima, Peru
On our virtual walking tour, we’ll begin at Parque Kennedy, the heart of Miraflores, where street artists, musicians, and playful cats create a lively atmosphere. From there, we’ll head down to Playa Makaha, one of the district’s most famous beaches, where surfers ride the waves and the Pacific breeze fills the air. Here, we’ll talk about Lima’s strong surf culture, local fishermen, and the deep connection between the city and the ocean.
After enjoying the beach, we’ll continue to the Parque del Amor, a beautifully designed clifftop park overlooking the ocean. Adorned with colorful mosaic walls and the iconic “El Beso” statue, this romantic setting is a favorite spot for couples and sunset lovers. With stunning views of the Pacific and a peaceful ambiance, it’s the perfect place to end our journey through Miraflores.
