What Was the Best Thing About Being a Child in YOUR Generation?
Meet Quora: It’s a website that crowd-sources answers to questions that users pose; visitors to the site can vote answers up or down and those with the most up votes rise to the top of the answers list. Questions might be experiential (what does the first day of a 5-year prison sentence feel like?) or informational (what’s the best day hike in Ithaca, New York?). Either way, most come from curious minds and the answers can be fascinating.
Recently, someone posed the question, “What was the best thing about being a child in your generation?” (thanks to Slate.com for pointing to it). The answers so far come from people from several generations, including a kid, several people who were born in the 70s and 80s, and a few who were kids in the 60s. No answers so far come from people who were born before WW2.
Take a look at our small selection of answers: Do any reflect your sentiments?
