I am new this club and it looks like I’m starting off at a good time. I will watch for the poll and vote accordingly. I would also like to ask for recommendations for other books, specifically biographies of interesting people and/or adventure reality types. But I don’t know where to post my request or if there is even a designated place. Sounds like I need some guidelines, please.
where is the poll located?
Hi Kim! The poll will be included in this Tuesday’s Book Club article. You can click the following link on Tuesday to be taken to the poll article where you can vote for our next two books: https://cms.seniorplanet.org/category/features/book-club/
Wasn’t sure how to submit my suggestions for book club reads, so I thought I would post them here:
“Lessons in Chemistry” by Bonnie Garmus
“Verity” by Colleen Hoover
“Surviving the Forest” by Adiva Gefen
“Demon Copperhead” by Barbara Kingsolver
“Dreamland” by Nicholas Sparks
“The Boy from Block 66” by Limor Regev
Thank you
Hi Leslie! Thank you for submitting your book recommendations!
I cannot attend the book club meeting this Thursday. How can I find out what the books for April and May will be?
Hi Alice! On Tuesday, March 28th, this article will be updated to include a poll on which books we should read for April and May. The results of the poll will be revealed in this article on Tuesday, April 4th.
Very entertaining, enjoyable book. Thank y’all for the recommendation.
We’re so glad you enjoyed reading the book!
