I got the book yesterday – playing catch-up. I was very moved by the first part. The authors voiced what I felt in 2016 and for the years that followed. Where I lived at the time was a community as divided as the rest of the country and I saw friendships come to bitter ends. Where I live now, the city is divided over the “moving” (not removing) of two Confederate statues. We have not overcome.
