Just discovered Senior Planet tonight! Very cool and I plan on participating!
Looking forward to the discussion on Happiness Falls. Not all the way through yet but planning on marathon reading sessions before Thursday. This book has been thought provoking for me in soooo many ways. Looking forward to others thoughts as well as hearing from the author. Hope to see you all on Thursday.
I read Happiness Falls last year and thought it was one of the best books of 2024. I just loved it. I have not re-read it so I don’t remember alot of details. I do remember interesting characters and thought provoking issues.
Maybe add abebooks.com as a book source. They deal mainly in used books. I’ve been generally pleased with their prices and service. Always good to encourage reusing.
I love that Senior Planet offers such a wide variety of classes, from tech tutorials to fitness! The schedule is comprehensive, and the descriptions are clear. Really appreciate how many options cater to different interests and needs.
