Comments
I’m waiting for this book to be available at the library. Don’t know if I’ll get it in time for the zoom.
Lost of twists and turns. All characters getting better developed and interesting. Still enjoying it a lot!
A couple chapters in — I’m finding it flat.
I was captured from the beginning, I can’t say that about many books. I am enjoying the character development and the mystery intrigue regarding Mia and Pearl. We are introduced by way of a fire, with no explanation, then we meet two very different families. Definitely one of my best reads recently.
I read the first seven chapters and am totally captivated. The opening scene is dramatic and frightening. The story that follows in the first seven chapters don’t directly comment on the fire, but are great character developments. We really see the families and their differences. I am looking forward to the next chapters.
