We need an additional discussion
Reversing or removing the Caste system will take deprogramming just as when someone is brainwashed. It’s so ingrained in some cultures that it seems normal. It’s subconsciously (or intentionally) taught and accepted.
Wilkerson has captured the essence of America’s systematic process of dividing Americans. Although much may be known or understood about America’s caste system, the book really highlights the role/model America played in Hitler’s regime. What is displayed on these pages is ever present today. This is a must read for all those wanting answers to their “why are things like this?” questions.
I appreciate the time and effort Ms Wilkerson took to bring this valuable information to the public. CASTE is a reflection on not only the US, but on the world. Caste systems are present everywhere you find people. As an African American, most of this is not a surprise, its still in effect today, however, the connections of India, Nazi Germany and US is startling. It is important to encourage our family and friends to obtain and read this book while we can still can.

I agree, it’s really an eye opener!
