Comments
Hi Deborah,
I’m always searching for apps that easily share data between a phone and a PC. Google is certainly good at that, but I found a better app for keeping lists of items to check/purchase whenever I’m near certain stores such as Costo, Harbor Freight, Liquor, Lowe’s, MicroCenter, Walmart.
Toodledo (free) has a section for lists, and I have one list for each store. It saves time and trouble when I can update the lists on my PC, and easily view/edit them when near these stores!
To the extent that articles like this seem to express Senior Planet’s endorsement of these apps, Senior Planet should take the extra step and also point out any downside to using them — e.g., is there anything really negative in the privacy policy of the app? Does the app obtain access to the user’s contact list? “Free” generally isn’t free.
thanks for your interest. Although we comply with AARP’s guidelines for avoiding the appearance of an endorsement, we will take an extra step and include a caveat to that effect.
What we need is an app not made yet. (I think)
I would call it WHAT TO DO WHEN YOUR COMPUTER OR PHONE IS DOING THIS…
