Why should you want to? (One reason: As older New Yorkers, we share a lot to laugh about!) The “why” is┬ájust one of the topics that seasoned comedians Karen Bergreen, Wali Collins and Harrison Greenbaum will address during this event, which is organized by the New York Comedy School. You’ll also learn the tricks to writing good jokes, even if you’re not that funny, and how to get free stage time to practice your routine. RSVP required. To RSVP, email Andy Engel at aengelcomedy@gmail.com with your name and phone number.

Hi Miriam, we’re glad that you’re interested in the stand-up comedy workshop. This workshop, as well as most of the events that we list in the online calendar, are organized and hosted by third parties, not by Senior Planet (the only Senior Planet events are preceded by “@ The Center” and have the center logo next to them). We provide the Around Town listings for your information. If you’d like to register for the workshop, please use the email we provide in the listing and email the organizer directly.
