Online since 2006 and relaunched in fall 2012, SeniorPlanet.org celebrates aging by sharing information and resources that support aging with attitude, and helps people who were born long before the digital revolution to stay engaged and active by bringing a digital-technology focus to a range of topics – among them news, health, sex and dating, art and design, senior style, travel and entertainment.
Senior Planet is written and edited by staff and freelance writers, the majority of whom are veteran journalists. Meet the SeniorPlanet.org team of editors and contributing writers.
While the site reaches seniors nationwide, SeniorPlanet.org is based in NYC and is home to the only events calendar curated for older New Yorkers.
SeniorPlanet.org is editorially independent. All service and product recommendations reflect the opinions of our editorial staff or authors. Senior Planet does not entertain guest posts from marketers, and all links to external websites are editorially driven.

A Project of OATS
Senior Planet is a project of Older Adults Technology Services, a New York-based nonprofit that since 2004 has engaged, trained and supported older adults in using technology to improve their quality of life and enhance their social and civic engagement. By providing seniors with engaging, positive online experiences and opportunities to have a voice on the web, Senior Planet supports the OATS mission to use technology as a vehicle for enhancing the lives of older adults.
